Do you think exorcism is good for children who are very out of control?

Not very young children but ages 10+. Do you think they are sometimes possessed of evil spirits and need exorcism? Or is it just an effective punishment? I know my brother has had an exorcism and he behaves for my stepmother who is the one who took him to the Mosque for it, but he is still evil around me so I don't think it actually worked he's just afraid of being exorcised again.
