Getting married islamic way in mosque! i need help pls?

He's Egyptian Muslim, and im Christian he wants to get married this week. He said he wants tp skip the whole engagement process, and get married religiously at a mosque, he said he doesn't want to tell his parents yet till the time is right he wants tp get married fast he said bcuz hes not allowed to date and he wants to get married legally wen the time is right. What does that mean in your opinion? I really really like him should I do that ? He said its up to me if we want we can wait...
