How do i clear my name from wrong full accusations my wife has told others including a womens shelter?

rcently my wife left me under false pretenses and moved in to a shelter since then we were working thins out but regrettably my wifejust past away and i found some information that she had filled out about me but it was all a lie iam very hurt and want to clear my name with shelter, my wife had a problem with prescription drugs if they would of talked with me they would of found that out maybe she would still be alive today i did not abuse my wife phsyically or mentaly we just became estraned over the medication she was taking any advise is much appreciated thanks
