Why would a 19-year-old guy tell a 15-year-old girl this?

It seems so obvious. He's a creeper! If you're the 15 year old, don't waste your time on relationships which are going to turn sexual. Focus on your studies, cause I can guarantee you, at your age men will gladly tell you they love you to get a piece of you. But they aren't going to be keepers.
