Are churches & Mosques Insured ?

Religious establishments of all kind, are supposed to be protected from any sort of disasters from the god that they believe in ! But is it more a building regulation requirement, due to the funding that comes from a bank or financial institution, cause most churches or mosques are funded by the funds collected.
